Senior year is all about celebrating who you are, what you’ve overcome, and where you’re headed next—and Jordyn absolutely brought that energy to her session. This Lancaster High School Senior accomplished everything she set her mind to- including her Senior Portrait Session!
A fierce wrestler from a Lancaster County high school, she stepped into her session carrying more than just her (brother’s) cap and gown—she had grit, grace, and even a last-minute twisted ankle! But if you think that slowed her down, think again.
When we first started shooting, she admitted she was feeling a little nervous about posing. That’s so normal, and honestly—it’s one of the most common things I hear from seniors. That’s why I guide every step of the way, from how to stand to what to do with your hands. A few laughs, some easy direction, and suddenly, her confidence started shining through the lens.
One of my favorite parts of this session? Her mom was by her side the entire time, cheering her on, hyping her up, and sharing in every proud, joy-filled moment. You could feel the pride in the air. That kind of mother-daughter energy is what makes these sessions so powerful—it’s not just about photos, it’s about memories.
We captured her strength, her resilience, and her style—with a few outfit changes and location vibes that fit her perfectly. Even with a sprained ankle, she powered through with a smile (and maybe a little sass!), showing off her inner champion in every shot.
Senior sessions aren’t just about pretty photos. They’re about capturing a moment in time—this exact season of life that’s full of endings, beginnings, and everything in between.
