This Longs Park Family Portrait Session was overflowing with laughter, smiles, and the never ending contagious energy that kids have. With 6 kids at this portrait session it was the best idea to host it at a park, and not just any park- but Long’s Park! A staple in the community known by many many Lancaster residents. Cassie & her family haven’t had consistent family photos ever. 6 kids can make planning something to beautiful seem daunting and overwhelming.
Once we started our session all of these fear disappeared, and we ended up having more of a play date than we did a portrait session. All sessions are truly kid led, we follow their lead & we listen to their ideas bringing everything to life that we can. Those are when the best ideas & pictures actually happen, honestly. Being themselves, so truly and uniquely them, allows me to capture the more fun & playful portraits.
