Every proposal at the festival of lights ends with tears in a magical & overwhelmingly beautiful environment. Planning a proposal itself was no easy task- especially when you’ve involving family, friends, and an event that hosts over 500 people! You may not have known this, but this proposal at the festival of lights was actually supposed to happen the day before! It ended up being rescheduled because of the weather, meaning we had to change plans last minute and shift all of our hard work to make this happen for Tallen Em!
When the day finally came to put our plan into action, Tallen & I knew that anything could happen & we’d be right back at square one rescheduling for the second time. Spoiler alert- the second time was the charm, because everything happened at the most beautiful pace & it turned into an absolutely magical moment. Proposals are supposed to be nerve racking, even if you know they’re going to say, “Yes!” & of course Tallen, their friends, and family knew that Em was going to jump into his arms the moment he asked.
Once the ball was rolling for this proposal at the Festival of Lights here in Hershey, Pa everything came together beautifully. There were no last minute hiccups, no ‘what happens if…’ situations came to light, and of course the most important piece- she said, “yes”.
