Danielle & Dan decided to spend their anniversary planning a celebration that closely, if not exactly, resembled a wedding! What do I mean by that? They spent months creating details from the reception brunch themselves, planning the decor, and the vendors. This Manheim Pennsylvania Anniversary was beautiful, even though the weather hit over 90 degrees by 10 am.
When I arrived at their home at 9 am, the short walk to the venue was covered in flowers & greenery. The trees lined the driveway down to the pond and provided much needed shade from the heat. Danielle had her parents at venue & they admired itwhile they got their portraits done with their family.
Popping out of her home their neighbor, & owner of the venue, called out to Dan & Danielle to congratulate them. She wished them well & would see them at church for the service in less than an hour. To say that we were all giddy & excited to see thsi come to life is an understatement!
Once we walked down to the pond we started in on the portraits & it was like they were teenagers again! The smiles and giggles never stopped. They were swooning over each other! Even in the heat they never for one second let you think that they were uncomfortable.
They way they work together, the way they find the happiest times out of the most uncomfortable (hot, sticky, disgusting) situations is so inspiring. They never batted an eye at the temperature, though it was the hottest day of the year, and they gave everything they had to each other during those few moments. The rest of my time with them was no different than the time we spent together for portraits. There was nothing but smiles, laughter, thoughtful gifts, and true happiness at this Manheim Pennsylvania Anniversary.
