How are you going to start adding to your calendar this year? Are you going to be more focused on your website, SEO, blogs, Facebook, Social Media? Let’s go over turning inquiries into bookings!

Let’s go over the couple steps that’s gonna be included in here:

Personalizing Emails

We’re going to start personalizing our email templates. When we get an inquiry we’ll take our email templates for Family Inquiries. In the beginning of our email we’re going to add that personalization. For me inside my email templates I include in big bold letters [Personalize to client here] so that I never forget to include my client’s backstory in my initial email back to them, a little note to my self.

This is everything that I want to keep in my email, but this I want to take from their inquiry, make it personalized to them, because I want them to know that I see them, that I pay attention to them that they’re unique individuals. Personalizing your initial email is only 1 way or turning your inquiries into bookings though.

Contact Form

So after personalizing your emails, you’re going to go ahead and create the perfect contact form that you find on your website. Of course everybody needs to know their name, what date they’re looking at, or what session they’re hoping to book with you. But, if you add a little bit of flare, a little bit of individuality to that, they’re going to be actually more excited to fill them out.

I remember it was the same thing when I was looking for my wedding photographer and when they had a creative and custom inquiry form. I’m thinking, that’s really cute, and I was so excited to fill it out! So other than creating the perfect contact form, creating a personalized email to start off that experience for your potential clients, you’re going to start and create a proposal.


Now, I say create a proposal. I mean, one template for a proposal that you can take and you can reuse for all of your clients. This is where automation comes in. This is where it pays off to have those templates. My proposal is a lot of information collection where I find out more about my client,. I ask them more about the dates that they’re looking to book. They tell me about their family, they give me fun facts. I would say that it’s about a page long, probably about 20 questions.

Then at the very bottom of that proposal, I have three options because I have three packages. So it basically says, which package do you want to book? From there it will take them to the contract where they sign. Once they click next, it’ll take them to the invoice. They click next, pay the invoice.

So the proposal is amazing. It has saved me so much time when it comes to booking clients and I book a client after sending 1 email to them, just 1. I’m not going back and forth anymore. I’m not saying, Hey, what date are you guys looking for? Oh, no, that one doesn’t work. Well, what about this one, this, that, and we go back and forth for about 10 emails. That’s what I used to do. Since I used this email template that I intentionally set up, it allows my clients to book me because they’re interested in booking me after sending just one email. These are 3 key actions for turning inquiries into bookings.
